In this episode of The Daily Gwei, Anthony Sassano gives a recent recap on everything new in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Nethermind update and client diversity
The Nethermind team announced that there are massive improvements to the Nethermind client in version 1.6.1, which fixes a lot of the memory usage issues and improves attestation performance.
Recommends upgrading to version 1.16.1 if users were having issues with the client.
Withdrawals devnet up and running with Teku nodes
Lucas reports that the withdrawals devnet is up and running with 15 Teku nodes ready to go.
The Teku nodes are running in Docker and this is part of the new withdrawals devnet.
Lucas expresses frustration at the amount of low information and bad information circulating in the industry, specifically regarding the idea that everyone will dump their ETH at the time when withdrawals are enabled, leading to a massive sell-off.
Explains that most of the ETH that is currently staked is staked through LSDS and that if someone really wanted to exit, they would just sell on the secondary market and be done with it.
EF DevOps' largest testnet launched
The Ethereum Foundation has successfully launched its largest test net in terms of validated accounts.
The aim of the test net was to have a network run at mainnet validator set in order to test BLS key changes.
The test net had over 600,000 active validators.
The initial testing had a rocky start due to resource exhaustion, but after scaling up the machines, the test net seems more stable.
The test net is important for testing the BLS signatures and the changes to the core protocol layer, especially with proof of stake in the consensus layer side of things.
OFAC-compliant blocks trending down
There is a decrease in the OFAC-compliant blocks as tracked by mevwatch.info.
This decrease is largely due to the emergence of newer, non-censoring relayers such as Agnostic Boost from Gnosis and the Ultrasound Money Relay from the Ultrasound Money Team.
These relayers have quickly gained market share, with Agnostic Boost at 7.45% and Ultrasound Money at 6.77%.
This is the lowest it has been since October 2022.
This is a positive development and Ethereum is winning the fight against censorship.

Updates for mevboost.pics website
Mevboost.pics is used for tracking information related to MEV boost.
The website has recently been upgraded with new features, including a general metrics tab, and separate tabs for relays and builders.
2000 Rocket Pool nodes are now live
Rocketpool has achieved 2,000 nodes over the weekend, according to a tweet from an individual who is bullish on the project.
Appreciate the project's goal of making Ethereum staking as decentralized and accessible as possible.
Bullish on $RPL as it has actual use and is growing with the protocol.
Index Coop launches dsETH
$dsETH enables holders to diversify their e-stake using a methodology that promotes decentralization and competition amongst protocols.
The product can be used by those who may have decision paralysis when it comes to buying different staked tokens.
The creators of the index will take a 0.25 or 25 bips fee, but there is no mint or redeem fee.
Aave v3 is now live on Ethereum mainnet
Aave protocol V3 is now live on the Ethereum mainnet.
The vote to put it live passed and it includes features such as high-efficiency mode, isolation mode, and gas optimizations.
These features will be beneficial for layer one and decentralization.
Users who have been using Ave V3 on other chains will be familiar with the features, and users who have been using V2 on Ethereum can now use V3.
Eagle RPC is now live
Harpie's Eagle RPC is a new technology that adds two-factor authentication to wallets, protecting against rug pulls and hacks by changing the RPC.
This allows the wallet provider to talk to the Eagle RPC and then the blockchain, providing an extra layer of security.
The technology does not require any new software to be installed and is an alternative to using a node.
The Eagle RPC is a good option for those concerned about accidentally signing the wrong message or confirming the wrong transaction.
Fire now supports Optimism
Fire is a product update for the Optimism platform that allows users to see exactly what is happening in a transaction.
It is similar to Harpie in that it aims to protect users against potentially malicious actions.
The update allows users to see the assets that are being sent and received in a transaction, rather than just displaying gibberish like other platforms.
The update also allows users to use Fire on the Optimism mainnet.
